LADYFINGER AND ONION :) BHINDI


Ladyfinger is very healthy and is very easy to cook.It hardly take 15-20 mins to cook and u have a tasty dish to eat.I always make sure that they are available in my home as I make them when I am short of time or running late.

  
Take 500 gms Ladyfingers,wash and dry them thoroughly.Top and tail.Cut them into 1/2 inch pieces.put them in a wok and on medium flame,heat it for 2-3 mins so that if there is any water left,it dries up.Then add in 1/2 cup oil(or as u like) and stir on medium flame for 6 minss.The color will be enhanced (very green).

                                                                   
        Slice 4 medium onions (sideways).u can c the pic the way i cut them.add them to the ladyfingers and    cook on med to high flame.Also throw in 2 green chillies chopped finely.


 The onions shall be translucent and a bit soft in a while.


Then roughly chop 3 tomatoes and throw in some salt,red chilli powder,red chilli flakes (as per ur taste),turmeric powder 1/4 tsp.Cover and cook on low flame for a few mins.The tomatoes will be soft and the spices shall be well mixed.If its a bit watery,cook on med-high flame for few mins so that the water dries up.
Serve with Roti.
